Photography became an interest of mine in 1992. As a sketch artist I found that working from photos was a much more efficient use of time for both myself and the bowl of fruit posing on the table. My continuing interest in photography led me to photographer David Ritchie. I prefer to make use of natural light but my experience as a fashion and portrait photographer has made me comfortable in a studio environment. The ability to print my own work has been a real blessing as well because it gives me full control of the final image. The everchanging seasons along with the diverse landscapes in Southwestern Ontario are also an advantage as they offer many opportunities to explore my creativity. My thanks and appreciation go out to my Mother and friends for their continuous support and encouragement.

In January 2009, one of Toronto’s top promoting companies Kleen Media, hired Evens to become their official High Profile Photographer for their nightly events in Toronto’s upscale nightclubs.
